About

I have a selective obsessive compulsive disorder.  In other words, my closet is color coordinated with everything hanging the same direction and on the same type of hanger, but on the other hand, I seldom make my bed.  I can spend an hour on a meaningless project like getting all of the hair and string off the vacuum roller, but only spend 10 minutes total on my hair and make-up each morning.

I married young at the age of 19 to my college hero.  We quickly had two children, Jayla and Jace.  As we were living a life that was far beyond anything we had imagined or prayed for, my husband was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma cancer and passed away three years later.  As only God can do, He brought the man of my dreams into my life a year later.  With the addition of his three kids and everyone’s spouses, our tribe consists of 18 members. Six of those are the most amazing grandchildren on this planet.

I am an 35 year educator with a passion for students and learning.  I have taught all grades 2-8, served as an elementary and middle school principal and now work as a central office administrator.

We are devout Oklahoma State University fans and go to as many events in Stillwater as our schedule will allow.  I love to work in my flowerbeds and our yard is a fine example of my OCD.  I can’t even let anyone else mow because they may not do it right.  I love to cook especially if it is a Sunday meal and some of our kids will be here for lunch.
